Forgiveness is such a simple pursuit, and we fail to understand it because of how complicated we make everything.

The whole premise of “If I can find one flaw in someone religious person somewhere, then they’re all false” is conflicted on too many levels to list out here.

One is putting other people behind the steering wheel of your life.

The other is that people require very low amounts of evidence to reach for the illicit indulgences they invite into their lives.

Yet God seeks to be re-united with us through His power to forgive our sins.

Sometimes the anger we feel towards other people makes it easy to forget how badly we need to be forgiven.

If you focus too much on how you appear to other people (and gaining their approval), then you lose sight of how truly vulnerable you are.

People have such a hard time accepting that they have settled for (and often pursued) evil, that they invent excuses rather than to seek the help, cleansing, and healing they need.

I frequently see “church people” getting accused of being inferior or spiritually flawed, or whatever.

While this may be true on several levels, the people raising these objects lack the depth to see how true this has been in their own lives.

If you truly viewed your life and personal history, your intentions and commitments … you would see how much you need the forgiveness that comes only from Jesus Christ.
