We should ask God for help daily, but asking for an easy life is asking to be deprived of the challenges needed for growth and perspective.

And we definitely shouldn’t hold it against God when He gives us hard times so He can walk through them with us.

We should be thinking about what most matters to us every day, or else the lesser things are going to take over our lives.

The apostle Paul wrote “Let a person examine himself” (1 Corinthians 11:28a ESV)when describing how the believers in Corinth were passing away.

Self examination means addressing your flaws. A true understanding of who you are is not going to make you conceited or arrogant.
