You’re Better Off Authentic

Life offers more than the pitiful things we content ourselves with.

Think of all the ways you could be enjoying your life if you weren’t being anxious about the conflicted choices you’ve made or trying one of a thousand ways the modern world gives you to check out from life.

If you were truly contributing to the lives of people the exact way you would want people to contribute into your life, you wouldn’t regret it.

You could be waking up each day celebrating.

The more that people oppose heaven, the more conflicted they become.

Do you think you are better off living a conflicted life ?

Do you think conflicted people are happy people ?

If not, then follow the advice of John the Baptist and make straight ways for God. He is the One who has the power to raise up mountains and lay them flat.

How much more can He do to bring joy and wonder into your life ?

Sincerity goes where the “facts” do not.

Facts are impersonal. The ones that can make a difference are always more controversial than presented, and are usually (always?) foregone conclusions in disguise.

If you own your opinions for what they are, you will feel more connected to the only life you get to have under the sun.

Remember, the Bible calls us to be sincere, and ain’t no one who understands like God understands.

Logic can never tell you what matters to you personally.

People act like the pantheon of fallacies out there can be relied on for something.

They go in and out of fashion like EVs.

As philosophers like Søren Kierkegaard have noted, logic can only tell you what you begin with in the premises.

For example, if you say, ‘All men are mortal, and Socrates is a man, then Socrates is mortal’ you already had that Socrates was mortal in the premesis. Logic just told you what you already had.

Find the meaning in your life today that you do not yet have.

Spiritual truth can be more than just a disguise you put on to look better to others.

How sad that the only thing many take up spirituality for is to put down those who have actual standards in their lives.

Instead of taking up a cause or a view for the purpose of opposing others, take a view that builds you up and sets your feet on solid ground.

Remember, “God is light. There is no darkness in Him at all.”

If you seek after Him and all He calls you too, He has the power to lead you out of all the farces and disguises you have burdened yourself with.
